Two new Volvo trucks arrive and new Wilcox bulk trailer to enhance our animal feed division.

Ollertons place orders for two new 8 wheel vehicles and one new bulk trailer - all due for delivery in January 2008.

Ollertons have now switched to using Bio diesel in their vehicles in order to reduce our carbon footprint

Ollertons take delivery of two new vehicles, 1 x Scania, and 1 x Volvo.

Ollertons place orders with suppliers to take delivery of a new Scania truck in April followed by another in June.
October is then the next scheduled date for the next delivery of new trucks increasing the fleet of Volvo and Scania to 14 vehicles.

Ollertons take delivery of a new Leyland day 7.5 ton truck. This new vehicle is the start of the new development of the S. Ollertons portfolio, we will now be supplying decorative aggregate, sand and top soil from purpose built bays from the Chorley depot.

Darren Robison is appointed as the managing director of S. Ollertons Ltd. Darren Robinson has now worked in the industry and with S. Ollertons for over 19 years. With Darren’s fresh perspective and some new investment from Chris Langson, the company has experienced many new changes in both the company direction and vision, New investment in vehicles and new IT systems along with new depots in the South West all allowing Ollertons to expand and grow even more.


Stan Ollerton has formally retired and hands over the business to the new management team headed by son of the Co founder John Robinson.
Stan formed the company with partner and lifelong friend John Robinson over 35 years ago; Stan will be hard to replace and we wish him all the best in his retirement.

Co founder and Director John Robinson passed away aged 65, John will be dearly missed by us all, he dedicated over 35 years to S. Ollertons.
